International Cave Merch Festival

Post by spadgy »

I just received this press release. It appears that along with the launch of the new Cave global website, they are also now doing merch 'festivals' for the international market.
Cave PR wrote:We are writing to announce that our International CAVE Shop will be holding an Online CAVE Festival starting this May 23rd until the 28th. Come check out some of the stylish shooting merchandise we’ve prepared from CAVE’s beloved franchises, including Dodonpachi, Mushihimesama and Espgaluda!

We’ve got everything from beautiful soundtracks, to fashionable T-shirts, to crystal Ketsui multiplier chip cubes!
Our International Shop is your first stop for high quality CAVE merchandise.

We are also proud to announce the launch of our new website, http://www.caveinteractive.com!
Learn more about CAVE as a company and take a look at our latest games!

We look forward to your coverage of these latest developments from CAVE.
There's also a more detailed press release as a PDF. When I have more time I'll paste in that in its entirety.

Reckon they'll make any more 5 cubes? not really interested in paying £60+ for the BL merch.

I doubt it. Also, VAT is probably going to make this more expensive than a middleman

Quote from the website:

"[Ketsui] 3D Crystal Multiplier Chip: [10]

Who knows, it might help you score in real life!"

LOL.

I also find it funny that everything in the new section is sold out. People love their kit =D.

Edit: Ugh, I'd better stop looking at this. I could get myself into real trouble when excellent soundtracks are readily available for a little money...

Don't worry, nothing's sold out, it's just inaccessible until the International Festival starts on the 23rd. Same thing happens to the JP Fests.

I think they are.

My wife's been very understanding, even when I bring empty Cave boxes home, but I think she'd draw the line at me wearing Cave underwear!

I guess being Galuda-themed they're technically unisex?

To those who have bought from the CAVE store...

How long does it usually take them to process payments?

When I ordered, the Cave side of the payment cleared relatively early (within a day or two). The DankeDanke side took longer - I stopped checking after the third or so day, then completely forgot about the order... a few weeks later I showed up at the post office and the package had been waiting for me for like a week.

Before Pope John Paul died he decreed that Aliens were also GOD's creatures and we should treat them with respect.

No. Closest thing would be one of their matsuri events, but they're only once a year. You may luck out and find some stuff in one of those rental boxes, but officially no.
