Touching up vinyl dye?

I just modded my fightstick, and it looks pretty damn gorgeous. However, I just noticed that there are two small areas where white shows through the blue vinyl dye I used. I was wondering what the best way to touch up these small spots would be

A) If I sealed up the rest of the stick and sprayed those parts again, would it come out looking good or would the new dye-job "go over" the old dye job and combine both blues into a darker one?
B) I read that you could use a q-tip to apply vinyl dye onto small patches. Would this look good, or would you be able to tell that a q-tip was used? I would prefer this method really, since I wouldn't have to seal up the entire stick and risk getting overspray on something.
