I have a Gokujo Parodius PCB that displays a yellow hue to the game.
All of my other games work fine, and adjusting the gains does nothing.
I tried reseating the top PCB and nothing.
Any clue what could be wrong?
Underneath, the d26 trace has a gouge in it, but as far as I know thats not used.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Konami GX PCB Color Issue
Re: Konami GX PCB Color Issue
Are there coupling caps on the RGB lines? A short in/across one could pass a DC offset that's supposed to be blocked.

Do you have another Konami GX To swap your subPCB onto? Instructions here:

If You absolutely must test it this week, I'm on the other side of PA and would be happy to diagnose your Main PCB and possibly even swap it out for you. I think I have a spare Konami GX Mother.

The game is inexpensive enough that I sold it for $50 as defective.dieKatze88 wrote:Do you have another Konami GX To swap your subPCB onto? Instructions here:

My monitor never displayed any problems at all, and this is the only board to ever present any.
I really appreciate the offer though.
As for coupling capacitors, I don't know.
