Hello,
It is gunbird18 again with yet another Egret II question and emergency.I am ill right now. I had a monitor tech work with my chassis, but alas, he was not familiar with the Nanao MS9. He did re-solder some weak areas, and checked on what he could, then he sent it back to me and said best of luck. That is fine.
I now have my chassis and I cannot for the life of me remember how to wire this thing back up. I have attempted to hook it up and powered it on for a very quick second, but I am too afraid that I am going to fry something.
I was wondering if I could have someone with an E2 take a picture of the chassis with all the wires attached to it. I am hoping that the wires will be the same color and I can go from that. Also take a picture of the wires coming down from the monitor to the chassis so hopefully I can make sense of the yoke wires.
I would really appreciate it if you could email them to me. Shoot me a pm and I will give you my email address.
Thank you very much in advance if you can help me with this! Hopefully I haven't fried the yoke! Ahhhhh!

I will try to help some. If you fry something I have a spare chassis. Sorry about the suck pictures, I can get more if needed.

Thanks, Gabe! That helps out quite a bit, actually! I will see what I can do... and I will give an update!

Okay,
I am close to being very ill.
I am 90% sure I have all the cables hooked up correctly. I plugged in a board and I was getting sound from the game. Still no picture, and I am getting a screeching noise at the back of the monitor.
I am now waiting for someone to tell me that I have bricked an Egret 2.

Re: Egret II Emergency
Does the EII have any kind of a remote board under the panel? I was freaking out a while back when the monitor in my Astro wouldn't come on, and I found that one of the wires to the control board had become severed. Reconnected it, and it's been working perfectly since. Just an idea to check if you have something like that.
Re: Egret II Emergency
Yes, it has a remote board down in the service area, but it is all there, and the wires are not severed in any way. This monitor has been off for 3 months, so I don't know if there is something wonky with the tube or the yoke or whatever...
Thank you for the advice!

Have you tried posting this on Arcade Otaku? There are some pretty knowledgeable guys there, and the first place I go for tech problems.
