They already have the rights for it.
It seems that Tradewest also doesn't understand...that's the problem...
Ant they never really explained the "complications"...
If I was in London, I'll will go directly to Tradewest UK office...(as I did in the past in Paris to visit Tradewest FR...)
@PatrickF27 : Japanese demo is a little bit short !
TO those who might still have had a shed of hope here is the final nail to the coffin.
Will there ever be anything of Raiden Fighter ACES?
Tradewest Games SAS We removed this title from our release schedule so far as there were way too many complications to launch it. We feel very sorry for you are a big fan of the game.
What's really annoying is that someone owns the rights to this, but for whatever reason (whether its gone into administration or whatever) those rights to publish the game are pretty much unobtainable for anyone else now.
It's ridiculous because at around £17 this package would sell very well as shooters go.
To go "full-Plank" - colloquial - To experience disproportionate levels of frustration as a result of resistance to completing a task. Those who go "full-Plank" very rarely recover.

Knew I should have scooped that Asian 360 when Genki had it in.
£160 for a second-hand J360 is pretty expensive. They're only £200 new.

What more annoys me is how they managed to fuck this up all they had to do was print the damn disc and covers..
:(I am disappointed with the publisher TradeWest. I hope someone in Europe picks up the rights to both this and Raiden IV.
I will start saving for a Asian or Japanese 360 now. This is the only way we are going to play any more STG in Europe. I don't think RSG will publish this.
fumanchu wrote:on the amazon page for this game it now says that the publisher is pqube and the wiki page has a release date of september 11 2011.
I wouldn't trust the Wikipedia page, but I sent an email to one of the guys at PQube to see if they could confirm the rumour. I'll let you guys know if I get a reply.
PQube Andy: Hi , we are currently looking into this. We currently think that all Tradewest products on Amazon have been "changed" to PQube (without our say so). We are not the publisher for Raiden Fighters ACES but I will look into the title for the future. Thanks.

Maybe amazon.co.uk knows things that PQube doesn't know ! (Pqube is going to purchase Tradewest ! lol)
On August 16, 2011, JoWooD Entertainment and The Adventure Company, was acquired by Swedish company Nordic Games.
JoWood and The Adventure Company will become publishing labels within Nordic Games GmbH and plans are to re-launch the back catalogue of games and invest in developing the wholly owned IP's and franchises.
Perhaps NORDIC GAMES owns the rights now? I will try mailing them.
ShopTo however have dumped it back to a TBC release date which is probably a sign that whoever was feeding these release dates to them has stopped talking to them.
Either it's never coming out, or we are waiting for Nordic games to indicate whether they intend to release it at some point or another. I don't see it being this year though.

Will or hopes be shattered again or will something good finally happen?
I've never even heard of "Nordic Games". Any of the Swedish people in here got any ties to them?
edit: loljustcheckedtheirwebsite - not the kind of publisher you'd expect to publish a shoot'em up, definitely. But then agian, 505 Games proved me wrong last gen.
