Where oh where to find Radiant Silvergun ST-V

Post by Dewclaw »

I could've sworn I heard that the ST-V version was much cheaper than the saturn version. So why is it going for like 200 bucks on ebay right now? Is there a cheaper place to get this or is that actually the going rate for it?

edit: I have been to coinopexpress, but their price wasn't much better. I was under the impression that Saturn/STV was like the AES/MVS situation when it came to Silvergun.

I think you're probably a few years too late. I remember them going for $100 or so back then. Not sure what the going rate is anymore. I guess people caught on and got themselves Superguns.

Everything goes extremely high on eBay due to ignorance. Sometimes I think it's a disease. Ah well.

Damn. Yeah, I probably missed the boat...it was a pretty long time ago that I heard STV was the cheaper option.

It's still the cheaper option... doesn't mean it's easier to find though.

Yep, $150-$200 is the going rate for an ST-V RSG cart...

I paid $200+ USD for my Sega Titan ST-V Radiant Silvergun cart on an auction a couple years back...here was the situation, I had a ST-V cart for Radiant Silvergun but no ST-V motherboard to play it on. I wanted a Japanese Bios ST-V mobo to play it on since it is the one to play RSG with the original three button setup...an auction came up and it was indeed an Japanese Bios ST-V mobo...paid $75+ USD for it and worth the $$$ for the RSG + ST-V mobo setup.

I picked one up from a seller on YJA with mobo + Souky cart for <$200. That was less than a year ago.

I've been looking for a JP MoBo for awhile now. But in the end it will cost $150-$200 total so it isn't really any cheaper.
