Should this thread be closed and let the parties involved sort this out by PM?
No... this is good tabloid material.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

How many days has it been?

It's pretty much bullshit that you had to wait this long.

Since this thread has already been created, I'm going to air a grievance:

There is a certain forum member (not naming) who jumps on sales threads, PMing the seller with things like "OMG I WANT - I CAN PAY NOW" - but then becomes a fuckin' GHOST. Logs in and checks his messages, but heaven forbid the dude would respond to further PM's....UNTIL I finally send the dude ANOTHER PM "So...do you still want this?" I get the response "YES! I will pay tonight"

...
...
...

Still no payment. And still the dude continues to log in and read his PMs but refuses to have the decency to respond.

I'm sorry man. I'm sure you'll get your money.

It only takes 5 days at most to transfer money.

I have no clue what's taking him so long.

Yeah that shit is annoying. It happened to me a month ago when I was trying to sell my Raiden II PCB. I got a PM about a price and shipping to Canada and then he wouldn't respond to my PM's afterwards to follow up. I don't see the reasoning. I'm not gonna hold it against someone for changing their mind, especially since we hadn't made any kind of deal, but why disappear like that..

Canada you say?

Must be the same dude....

TWICE he promised to pay "later tonight" Saturday and Sunday....

I guess this happens, but what gets me is the lack of any type of response. I go out of my way to be communicative, and get blown off. I even asked dude if he was blowing me off! I got a response that NO he wasn't blowing me off and how sorry he was for "forgetting" to reply and that he really wanted the item.

THAT'S whats pissing me off is the refusal to acknowledge my PMs on a transaction that HE initiated and made a number of promises on.

I have NO idea how the dude's got by without any negative feedback, as I've heard that he pulls this shit on the reg....

The guy probably wanted the item but didnt have the funds so he tried stalling until he could get the cash ready. Or he could be just an evil troll

Ahhh sucks, and I was all pumped about getting the system11 brute force geared up for a shake down

I think the morals of the story on each side are: don't pay someone 1K and decide you don't actually want the item and don't call someone out unless you are prepared to settle up before matters get shakey.

Good to hear that the issue has been resolved - been some high drama this week!

Glad money got refunded - hope everyone in the peanut gallery has learned a lesson, and I'm sure that HD and Mmsadda both are wiser after this unfortunate series of events.

Now...real talk:
