Tried getting into the second loop with Extends every 5,000,000. It didn't work. I don't think I'm going to be able to 1-all this on defaults any time soon. Was only able to barely get above 60 million and into 1-5. But I'm at least playing again after not playing for a while, and I'll try for a legit 60 million and 1-5 soon. Did get the achievements for dying 12 times without continuing and for 60 million, and if I realized I would get them with changed settings, I wouldn't have even bothered.

I don't get how this game is supposed to be easy though.

But expect at least 60 million from me this next week probably. I'll at least try.

What got you on the final phase?

If I got to the final boss's final form, I would clear regardless of if I had no lives or bombs left. I should get back to this, but Pink Sweets and STGT currently have my interest.

I'd never seen the final boss before is why I couldn't clear (also not spotting the laser), but go ahead and do it Though given how painful Harahara is, I'm not going to make headway in the loop anytime soon (Those bosses, ugh)

If the stage 5 boss was using lasers on you, that isn't the final phase. Final phase is

Streaming attack
Attack aimed away from your hitbox
And then something that should never hit you if you stay to the sides.

... losing one life to the laser attack doesn't preclude you from seeing the final phase, you know (it'd be hard to miss, being so traditionally Raizing!).

I think mame scores are ok, as long as you have the framerate display running during play so you can make sure its at 100% most of the time, or if you've checked during previous runs.
