RockinAndroid today tweeted a link to a papercraft site which has a downloadable R-type model set which looks really damn good for a papercraft model
http://paperkraft.blogspot.com/2011/04/ ... l?spref=tw
Theres also a couple of vic viper models on the site but unfortunatly there is no DL link to make one yourself.
Ive never really been into papercraft before but I suppose its the next best thing for someone who likes models but is skint (like I am). Is there anyone else into papercraft? made any shmup models yourself or know of any more shmup related papercraft that can be DLed?

Those are really cool! I have no printer..
I like that kind of stuff allot actually. Way back in the day, almost fifteen years ago, I lived near an anime shop that had all these robot paper craft kits for a dollar each. I made a ton of them, and promptly destroyed them!
Can I send you a couple dollars for a couple sets of print outs?

Thanks for the links to those cool R-Type papercraft models, TrevHead. Downloading them right now. ^_~
I recall there was a Japanese link to some cool papercraft Metal Slug tanks as well. Even Atari Games did a simple papercraft project for their Space Duel arcade game as a promotional sales piece back in 1982.
What would really be cool to to construct some papercrafts of them world famous candy cabs like the ol' Taito Egret 29, Taito Egret 2, Egret 3, etc.

Wouldn't it be easier to go to Staples or Office Depot and get them printed?xris wrote:Those are really cool! I have no printer..

Come check out my website, I guess. Random stuff I've worked on over the last two decades.

Assuming if they allow you to bring in your USB thumb drive and access said papercraft files to print out. Then you'd be charged for how many copies made. Easy as pie.
