Too bad I dont have an iPhone otherwise I would consider trying this game.

I am still looking into it. Never used their service before in a game. Maybe I will next week for version 1.2.. Since v1.1 is already waiting for reviewing by Apple.

Terror and War is on the New & Noteworthy (Entertainment, arcade and action) for the Dutch app store.

Update 1.1 is on the app store and the price will be dropped soon to $0.99, hopefully today. The sale will be till 26/02/2011. Also update 1.2 is well on its way for the release next month!

Description

A mysterious collective of vicious aliens are attacking the city of Eersim and you are the hero who must stop those aliens! Shoot your way through waves of aliens and dodge their bullets. Upgrade your weapons by picking up power ups. Terror and War is a vertical shoot em up. Terror and War comes with seven stages packed with waves of aliens and a unique boss fight at the end of the stage. Terror and War comes with 5 challenging levels of increasing difficulty and will challenge all, from beginners to old gamers.

HERO NEEDED!!

Your city Eersim is under siege by nasty aliens! Step up to the challenge and stop the waves of aliens and the total destruction of Eersim. There are no rules, you may go all out to teach those aliens a lesson!

A CITY NEEDS SAVING

Defend seven parts of the city from waves of aliens. There are a few minions and seven bosses to shoot down. Each subsequent stage will become more challenging.

YOUR FIRE POWER

You are the pilot of the plane called the Speedy, one of the fastest planes in the air force of Eersim. Like all planes the Speedy comes with a shield or extra fire power. But there is more help, shoot aliens out of the sky to get upgrades for your weapon system or extra health. Still be careful because you will lose an upgrade if you get hit by enemy fire.
Other planes can be unlocked including the ultimate plane, Demigod. Demigod is the fastest, most powerful and hardest to shoot down plane made by Eersim.

- Seven stages and a big boss fight (two really big boss fights) at the end of the stages.
- Three unlockable planes.
- Each plane comes with its own characteristics.
- Upgradable weapon system.
- Five levels of increasing difficulty.
- Easy to get into control scheme.

Good news. Lite version is on its way. Update of the full version 1.15 also and the price will drop to 0.99 cents when released.

OpenFeint support would be awesome, Game Center's kinda weak

OpenFient is a bag of bug ridden shit though. I know iphone devs who actually gave up on openfeint because when applied it caused errors to their games (things like slight skipping etc). When you contact the OpenFeint guys for help or info on resolving the prob, they basically never reply because they don't give a crap.
