The vast majority of XBLA titles are released in all regions. There have been a few times I can think of when games have been released in certain regions before others such as "Bubble Bobble Neo!". Nin-2 Jump will be released in all regions. The only title I can think of that hasn't been released in the UK is "Aegis Wing" (pretty dull euroshmup). However people can still make an American account to download it if they want. All the other XBLA shmup titles that have been released are available in all regions.

Australia's missing some and Poland's apparently missing an amount of something shocking like 90% of all the titles.

I know for a fact that at the very least Guwange isn't available in Poland according to a friend, and RayStorm HD isn't available on Australia's XBLA. There were others that I noticed were missing comparing UK's list to Australia but I can't recall those off the top of my head. By your account I imagine even the UK's missing a few compared to America.

There's a shitload of XBLA games missing on Brazilian Live service last time I checked.

Our Live service is so crap that a lot of people just keep using the US Live and forget about the Brazilian one.

Oh my mistake then. I thought that some of the other regions might have less games, but I just went with what I knew from the British, Japanese and a few West European marketplaces.

No worries man. I've read on a website that apparently New Zealand as well as Germany and Korea were missing RayStorm HD, there's quite a few oddities omitted from some markets for unknown reasons. For all I know this could be a simple fault that could be solved just by calling the dreaded Customer Service hotline but I don't have that kind of spare time. :P

I knew Germany and Australia had to be one of them, probably censored, although due to the original Contra I thought they didnt care about robots

I know every countries censoring system is a bit loopy at times but those two places seem to be the worse where gaming concerned

The C rated title will carry a 400 Microsoft Point price.
A "C" rating? Is there really that much "objectionable" content in this thing?

For 400 points I'll definitely check this game out, especially as the money will be going towards a good cause.

Well, I guess this trailer explains the rating...seems the little dude can die in some rather bloody ways. Seems an odd design choice for a game with an otherwise "purposely-cheesy" style to it...do real-life "puppet shows" of this sort pull stunts like this? I wouldn't know...

Game looks too much like the DS2 bonus game. I didn't enjoy that at all so I'll pass on this :/

Not sure how you can say that.

Although it seems you try to complete levels with your best time like the one in DS2, in this you appear to have to use your scarf to latch onto walls and you actually kill enemies. Which obviously changes everything. I was skeptical at first, until I saw all the numbers pop up on screen and realised its heavily score based. Oh, and its only 400 points aint it?

I wonder if CAVE fans, myself included, have some degree of magpie DNA in their bloodstream. There's something oddly comforting about glowing numbers covering the whole screen, but unfortunately I don't know how they can top Mushi Futari's 30000-gasms. There's no way they can add more numbers to the screen, is there?

I thought it already had been topped by ESPy II and CC at the very least. Anyway, the numbers everywhere in these games really indicate a level of replayability as opposed to just a (survival) experience that most titles are these days.

Ah thx BM. Christ it stinks!!! With it been compared to Nin2 Jump I thought it would be half decent. I cant imagine how Cave could ever think it would enhance DS2 in any way.

Lets not speak of it ever again. As I feel slightly disgusted and want banish it from my memory. Just as if ive been flicking through an old porn mag and seen my mom in the readers wives section (shiver)

^^^try actually having played it.

Nin Jump seems to have the same thing going on.

Maybe when the reviews come in I'll give it a fair chance ...but I dunno.

Well, there should be a demo so you can try it for yourself.

The closeups of Nin-Ja's face look digusting but besides that the game itself actually looks okay. I'll definitely try out a demo for this when I see it.

I fail to see the similarities between this and DS2's shit bonus game, which as far as I'm concerned shows what DS2 really is in simplest form (making the Deathsmiles brand look horrible).

Looks pretty fun. I really like the unique artistic approach they went with with... For 400 ms points I doubt I'll pass on this unless the demo is complete ass.

So I tried the demo, and it was enough to ensure that I wouldn't be buying it. Things like fixed controls, unable to remove the silhouettes at the bottom of the screen, and this projector slash theatre film grain on top of everything really takes the colours out of everything. It also seemed like collecting the Cave logo did nothing, as I would get an A rank, instead of S (which appears to be only time based).

I turned the game off and deleted the demo after the grappling hook gimmick came into the picture. Due to the way the game was presented, I couldn't see what I was doing.

This would have been better off a free bonus included with Akai Katana. Even the theme would be fitting.

Were any known Cave programmers/game directors involved with the development of this game?

Tried the demo...and kinda liked it though it definitely reminded me of Arkedo's series on xlig...more of a low budget experiment than a fully fleshed out arcade game.
What I definitely didn't like were the fixed controls and the crazy zooming. There's definitely some potential here so I hope they continue their experiments but to be brutaly honest a game like "House of Dead Ninjas" on adultswim.com is way better than this...and free.
Maybe Cave should do some crazy stuff on facebook instead...

It's like Super Meat Boy Lite.....but I don't mind it. Honestly, with them contributing the proceeds to disaster relief and only charging 400 points for it, I'm more than happy about buying it. It's not bad. It's not DDP DOJ....but it's not bad.
<@scootnet> if you were a real gamer, you could jerk it to Super Metroid box art

Just completed the game.
Not bad. The scoring system is braindead and overall it's really easy once the Kusari comes into play but I enjoyed it.

I don't even like Super Meat Boy so eh.
