DOJ's hyper activation ("th-paow!") and laser sound effects are much cooler, imo. :D

I haven't played BL, but I heard it's better. For me when I played it and realized that autobomb was a core mechanic I just instantly lost interest, and didn't care to try and get into the game. Plus, there are so many other games that I've yet properly learn, that DFK is just low on the list.TonK wrote:The kit is worthless, the 360 versions are discounted, nobody is playing it.
I have to admit, it was the only Cave game I couldnt get into.
I don't even like BL - I find 1.5 more fun, for what its worth.
SkyKid was right.
What makes this game so hard to enjoy?
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?
Waaaaaahhhh!Udderdude wrote:Thread merge or lock plz.
There is a reason for that.Their is a Ketsui that's been sitting there for almost as long in CITs selling and trading thread.
I was actually quite fond of the hyper to cancel bullets...Special World wrote:DFK is definitely my least favorite of the 360 ports. I'm not great at shooters yet, which makes it even worse imo.
- Auto bomb sucks.
- People claim it's an easy 1CC, but it's only easy with bomb and strong, which offer no sense of satisfaction whatsoever.
- The scoring is absolutely brutal. Though it's considered easier to chain, I find breaking my chain in other DDP games much less frustrating. In this one the chain seems entirely like build up, where in the other games it feels like the end in itself. For this reason, when I break my chain early after a hyper in DFK, I feel like I've accomplished nothing. Maybe this frustration just comes from having read up on DFK's mechanics, where DOJ was just GET CHAIN, GET BEES, DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT, IT'S DOJ!
- Hypering is totally fucking boring, at least at my skill level. Later on it becomes less of a "destroy all bullets" feature, but I don't tend to get very far in this game.
- I find the game to be lacking any real style. It's kind of just some kind of garish thing with robot ladies.
- I don't like most of the bullet patterns. Love the third boss for some reason, though.
I know CIT IRL and he's a good guy, he wouldn't do stuff like that.yosai wrote:There is a reason for that.Their is a Ketsui that's been sitting there for almost as long in CITs selling and trading thread.

Lol! No, the opposite of what I meant. Good one though.moozooh wrote:You mean he sucked at it?Skykid wrote:I watched Icarus work it like a baby milks its mothers tit
