Despite the published date, this thing is for real. The download link is on the bottom of the page. You know what to do.

Most realistic character animations to ever grace the Famicom? Quite likely.
By the way, where's that avatar of yours from?

Most realistic super-ape piledriving a guy in a bee suit, anyway.

This and the very quirky theme was probably the only good point about it. The rest of the game is quite bad, but I suppose that only adds to its charm. It's so bad, it's actually pretty good.

As for my avatar, eh, some dude I know on another channel took one of those "furry desu" pics and colored it up for me. I'm not furry, but that picture was too darned cute not to use as an avatar.

Ah I remember this from my old pre-banned from DP days. Kinda takes the fun out of a project my friend started to just make a game, since we assumed it would never be found.

I recognize that throw animation from Punisher. Looks more like an LJN game than a Japanese one, and no professionally made game would have that awful stage design even in beta phase. Aint real, just an elaborate prank courtesy of NES homebrewers. Maybe I'm wrong but either way it's irrelevant except for that kickass box art illustration.

Some of the early LJN games like Jaws and Karate Kid were Japanese developed (Punisher wasn't, though)....

The music is definitely Japanese style and sounds similar to muisc in other games. The gameplay looks similar to some of the Aspect designed GG games like their Sonics or Coca Cola Kid.

The way he grabs the sumo by the flab when he throws him...

So when is someone gonna make a actor-in-a-suit based kaiju game?

...... I guess you've never played a bad game. Or developed a game.

No one would put this much effort into something for a lul. If it was fraud, how could they leave out the fist of communism?

Yeah, on top of this, it's a cancelled/unreleased game. Maybe they cancelled it becase .. it had awful stage design and they had no time/resources to fix it? :P

Obviously you've never played Ganso Saiyuuki - Super Monkey Daibouken. I can't possibly think of a game any worse than that one.
