Started, played about 5 seconds, closed. No thanks... there are plenty of good shmups to play.

That's my point.

Not a Touhou clone by a long shot, and horribly easy, but still decent if you switch to keyboard controls and somewhat challenging if you play for 100% kills.

I've played much worse.

The one thing that really sinks it for me are the controls. A shmup needs far tighter controls than this - it especially doesn't need a direction getting "stuck" for half a second.
My 1CCs so I can find the list easier myself
<Despatche> you've been a thorn in the shmups community since the beginning, you're largely responsible for the horrible face of modern speedrunning

I thought Zeit² (the shooter I'm currently playing when I'm not playing Crimzon Clover) had bad inertia but this takes the cake. It's nearly at Protöthea's level in terms of inertia, if not worse.

Le Soeur du Barrage is controlled with the mouse alone and it play ages, years, decades better. :P

Actually, it's not a bad effort per se BUT picking flash already guarantees things aren't going to be that smooth. Unless we talk about keim's flash game Arcanacra (sp?), which was actually pretty awesome.
