What NTSC-J 360 titles are there to enjoy that aren't shmups

I'm assuming you mean Idolm@ster Live For You, as the original Idolm@ster is impossible to play properly without being able to read fluently.

Yea I only own Live4U but planned on picking up 2nd Vision.

As far as Gal*Gun. I tried the demo a while back, it was fun but was still really text heavy. Is the rest of the game like that? Seemed like you had to just take a guess at a lot of choices.

A lot of it is guessing, but it's not that hard to do. I'm personally loving it and I don't understand a word of Japanese. It's not like Catherine where you need to understand the plot to enjoy the game.

Tetris: The Grand Master ACE is also a lot of fun if you aren't a TGM purist.

it's a whole different game. it kinda gets ragged on in the leet tetris circles as it isn't quite as hardcore as the arcade offerings. but it still gets pretty damn hard. there's full menu translations available on the tetrisconcepts wiki, so you might want to print those out. they help out enormously when you are trying to figure out the different "roads" challanges. http://tetrisconcept.net/wiki/Tetris_Th ...
