2 days ago. I found dragon age online. Got it... then it was asking for an update.... didnt know why, it shouldnt as I have the latest dashboard. I was screwing around with one of the file management program and found a series of xex files that dealt with fan speed. So I thought cool. Keep my 360 from over heating. So I choose the 100%... rebooted to try it out. Fan goes full speed, makes a shit ton of noise... no screen. Im like wtf... Thing starts red ringing, 3 lights of death... Im like wtf is going on. I think the system thinks its over heating as it was working just 5 seconds before I did that. The xbox unit is now at Rohans house (My xbox guy) while he takes a look at it. I gave it to him last night and msged him about 2 hours ago. Still waiting on a reply, if it is somehow ready by 3pm tomorrow, before I leave for my thing, then Ill drop it off probably about 5pm. If not... no dice on the 360...

Shame too. I went out and bought dragon age 2... oh well.

Anyone mind a n00b crashing the meet? Been lurking for a while and finally joined, would love to come out and meet some people and check out some hardware.

Very curious about diving into supergun/PCBs and read tons of info already, but seeing in person is always better.

Haven't got much in the way of gear I could bring; don't have 360 or PS3, but I do have a Wii and the Ultimate Shooting Collection with a couple of remotes if there's a CRT I can plug it into? (have s-video cable at least), and a PS2 that I have s-video or component cables for with some older shmups (Gradius V, Mushihimesama, R-Type Final, Rez) and a smattering of fighters as well.

I also have a couple of sticks - one custom w/PS2 and USB and a Super Advantage w/SNES and USB (which is really only useful for emulators and my SNES of course, but I still love it!)

As far as driving goes, if you can avoid it, don't drive; you will have to pay for parking. I am like 3 blocks from Queen subway station, a 5 minute walk.
