Actually those sites are probably bound to get the release date before anyone else. Sure, some news sites could look into it, but most don't care about releases of niche titles that are only relevant for Europe. But since they all have different dates it's safe to assume neither of them know anything.

I mean once Tradewest get a release date, what they are going to do is update the release list sent to retailers. They won't run out and notify every news site with a new press release.
This reminds me of waiting for the PAL version of Metal Slug X to be released on the PS1. Still, at least that game did eventually come out (January 2001 in Japan, April 2001 in the US, August 2003 in Europe), so there's always hope. Maybe.
I only held out on buying the JAP version because the PAL release was so much cheaper meaning the difference could be spent on other games. I think i'll just get the jap version and be done.
This better be true. They have been playing with my feelings long enough. I don't even get excited with these news anymore, I've had too many disappointments. I believe it when the physical copy hits my mailbox.
It might mean they're submitting the latest version to Microsoft for approval. Not actual release, but it could mean they're hitting a significant release milestone.
Going for submission is GREAT news. Normally once a game passes submission it can take 3-6 weeks to get the discs pressed, packaged, and into stores - assuming the publisher wants to release as soon as the game is ready. The other good thing is - it's already passed US, so the EUR sub should just be a formality as any TRC-breakers will have already been fixed for the US sub. Basically, it means things are moving, they're being upfront about it, and we're finally going to get it over here. Assuming they will do a little marketing after the game passes (and they can finalize a release date), I *guess* we could see the game in 3 months or less.
Yeah best just to forget about this one until Tradewest release the game. Although knowing them theyll release the game without telling a soul even us fans lol
