Can you download 360 patches without the disc?

I recently ordered Deathsmiles US in order to get MBL since it was the same price as buying a points card. Unfortunately for me, I absentmindedly had it sent to my home address, where I don't have an internet connection for my 360. Is there any way I can download the patch files beforehand, so I can have a patched game once I go home?

Yeah, but it requires you to have direct access to the contents of the 360 harddrive.
Just google for "Title Updates" and place the naked file (no folders or anything) into the "Cache" folder in the root of the 360 partition.
When you next start up the game, you should get the update prompt.
