Deathsmiles US now as good as Japanese version?

Post by Special World »

I was wondering if post-patch Deathsmiles US is as good as the Japanese version. I have the J version, but never got around to downloading MBL, so I figured I might as well take advantage of Aksys's $20 Deathsmiles deal in order to get the extra content and put down some money toward a good cause. So, does the patch return it to a state that's as good as (or better than?) the J version?

Since the U.S. version is just $20 and the money is going toward a good cause, you can probably find out yourself!

You just quoted at least one cutscene from every 80s video game ever made.

If you're like me and only own a NTSC-J console, be aware DS NA is region locked.

While I can't speak if it brings it up to par with the NTSC-J port, I can say that MBL 1.1 is well worth 20$ as is.
