Turbo Duo+ 10 games on Ebay for $329.00

Post by nsonthi77@hotmail.com »

That sounds like a steal, but I've never ordred anything off Ebay before. What do I need to look out for? One thing for sure, I'm only gonna pay using a PayPal account, otherwise I will pass. I've heard some horror stories when using money order and in some cases a credit card.

What about the package, am I overlooking something here...it seems pretty damn cheap for a Turbo Duo let alone 10 games?1?

Need your opinion...

My opinion is: this isn't as good a deal as you think. No specifically (expensive) great games are offered with the system and the games including the (used) console are only worth S225 max.

Advise: buy a lose Turbo Duo and for considerably less and then buy some games you ARE interested in.

None of the game are really that good.

$300 for a TurboDuo sounds about right.

Also, if you want to play backup games on the TurboDuo, the music will be all screw up.

More like 500, when you add on shipping...and if I read what the seller is saying correctly, that Drac X is a burn.

bleh get a pc engine duo and swim in the bounty of pc engine hucards.

also, that bullseye guy has always struck me as kinda fishy. for example i was thinking of buying an rx off him (many thanks to BIG for dissauding me, i had no idea what i was looking at at the time). during the auction, given my reservations with the auction (overpriced, inexlicably shiny system, and missing hucard door), he offered to cancel the auction and sell it to me under his auction value.

he also had, as part of the auction, a bundle of nameless (to him games). they were part of his justification for selling so high. something like, "i don't know what they are, but you might be buying some rare games in this lot).

also to paraphrase, i believe BIGs take on the auction was "fugly. armor-all like a mug."
I have no sig whatsoever.

Yeah, I'm not really thrilled with Bullseye's prices. What really annoys me is that he's the seller that usually has the games I'm looking for.

Most of the posts here aren't that helpfull.
I didn't bother looking at the auction, but Ebay is mostly safe...just check the guys feedback rating. Look for something high near 100 percent. The more previous auctions the better.
I will allow up to 2 negatives per 100.

Also, that price isn't that bad, its about right.
Also, CDR's will play just fine if thats the route you're taking.

Ok, I just checked it out. Those games are cool.
The guy seems pretty reputable also.
I would bid on it.

Well, the thing is, the seller bumps the price up for the Turbo Duo when CD-Rs of rare games are in the auction. Also, he was selling (and might still be) the TG-16 Raiden at three different prices with the exact same picture. Most of the games he sells probably are real, but his business practices are annoying. (actually, I don't trust that Turbo Duo-R auction with Sapphire)

Yeah, very smart. Using ebay to encourage you to buy an item out of Ebay.

I thought this guy's auctions were kind of unethical when he announces his items like this:

"PC Engine Turbo Grafx Duo Arcade Card AND Hucard case"

And then the auction goes like this:

"This auction is for an empty case for your hucards. If you want to see a TGFX Duo, arcade card or PCE look at our other auctions."

I might as well advertise my auctions as "Gold Plated Diamond Tiffany Earring With Sapphires, Rubies and Emeralds AND used piece of chewing gum, MUST SEE!"
