Wow, that is excellent! I'm not ready to drop 50 clams on it, but very cool, nonetheless!

Awesome model. Not sarcasm.
I like how they specify the scale of a model when the real thing has never existed. Are they sure it isn't 1/150th scale? That's sarcasm

I am sure that when such a modeling artist is set out to create a prototype mock-up of any said figurine or model, it is first created in a larger size (to correct for deficiencies and corrected sizes) and subquent models are made in a smaller format once correct proportions are spot on. Then it's time to make the actual 1-to-1 production casting mold of said model for a limited production run. There's always time to make such various repainted variants if it needed be.

So that means there is a full-sized Ikaruga ship somewhere in the world. Well, add one item to my bucket list.PC Engine Fan X! wrote:I am sure that when such a modeling artist is set out to create a prototype mock-up of any said figurine or model, it is first created in a larger size (to correct for deficiencies and corrected sizes) and subquent models are made in a smaller format once correct proportions are spot on.
