SF Bay Area shmupmeet: March 6th

I'm all over this. Hanging out with people and playing shmups I haven't been able to try yet? Ace. (What's that you say? There's TGM3? Killer.) B)

If there for some reason there is any interest, I can bring TGM2+ (PCB) or TGMA (j360). Notably, both games have their own Doubles mode for co-operative (or, if you're brave, solo) play, featuring two active pieces in one playfield. It gets quite hectic!

Sure, I can try setting up my laptop in a location that doesn't make the thing seem like a total security camera like last time.
Alternatively, if anyone has a webcam they're willing to lend for the meet, I can hook that up so that way, we can have a more flexible camera that can give us a decent view of the meet.

I'm also going to bring my old-school camcorder to record myself playing some shmups at the meet.

I have an older logitec quickcam on a pretty long USB cord. Standard windows driver should work.

I decided to get in some last-minute DFKBL practice tonight, but my brain wasn't cooperating with me and I made some batshit mistakes on the Stage 2 boss.

Five minutes after leaving for the shmupmeet my wife called and was worried about our baby because she was bleeding from the tooth she chipped while she was in the hospital for a pneumonia... My daughter's having an unlucky weekend I guess. I'm having a weekend of lots of waiting in hospitals and on hold on the phone.

Hopefully they'll tell us not to worry about it and I'll be there soon
