The ISM site? That was M.C.Wilson acting alone. He used to do a podcast called Broadcast Gamer.

He's friends with DGR but he and that site were never a part of DGR.

aaaaand DGRadio is no longer a videogames podcast. So I dunno what they're doin'.

Since gradius is a ship which rules out any touhou-eske character fandom I recon she is one of those type of gamers who just like watching You Tube videos and lets plays.

Maybe she is interested in it because she likes classic games or retro games? Retro games are reviving somewhat in popularity now, and Gradius is a pretty obvious classic.

At the moment I can no longer appreciate anything other than a good sleep. Work is slowly killing me off and I spent/will spend many more hours with Crimzon Clover.

Looking forward to Touhou 13 and whatever comes out during Comiket 80... like RefRain (goddammit, Rebrank, release it already!).

Goals for the month are:

1. 1CC Crimzom Clover Original. I'm so close. I just need to stop making careless mistakes on the first form of the Stage 5 Boss.

2. 1CC Mushi Futari 1.5 Normal. I managed a 1CC on Black Label but now I just gotta go back and finish my battle with 1.5.

3. Give Deathsmiles a few more chances.

4. 1CC the first loop of Dodonpachi DOJ. This is unlikely for this month but I've came so close in the past.

Overall goals are: Go back and 1CC lots of games I started but never finished (ESP Ra.De, DOJ, Gradius IV, ESP Galuda, ESP Galuda II). I got a huge backlog because I also took a few large breaks from playing shmups. Time to fix that!
