Oh good, a breakout thread for complaining. My pre-order only shipped from Play this morning, so it'll be some time next week before it arrives. Play used to be consistently reliable on pre-orders, but I only seem to receive them on release date 50% of the time now. I pre-ordered Marvel vs Capcom 3 at the same time, and that shipped on Tuesday and arrived today. An early shipment of MMP & PS was dispatched from Japan last night and should arrive tomorrow. We'll be able to process about 80% of our preorders with the Wednesday shipment and the remainder will ship on Thursday. If you opted for overnight shipping, please note your order will arrive on Thursday of this week. Tracking numbers will be updated by 7PM EST tomorrow.

Paid for mine too - it worked out to roughly ~$14 cheaper than my NCS order will end up (yes, I'm ordering from both places). I'm predicting NCS will get it to me faster though, assuming I'm in the front 80%.

Mines gonna take ages. Went for economy bubble of the original edition. Last time I had something delivered UPS and it was more hassle than its worth as my work building has a complicated delivery process.

My NCSX shipment went out today, and is usually here next day, and I'm in Chicago. Off to pre-order Eschatos and Otomedius X now! BTW, NCSX's prices on both of those are way less than Play-asia's.

Well, nevermind the NCSX order being here by tomorrow, since UPS tracking shows that it JUST got to a New York UPS facility at about 8:30pm. The original "your order has been shipped" notification from NCSX this morning apparently just means that they had the package ready to ship and it hadn't actually been picked up for transit yet.

OK, I have a potentially stupid question: what are these Japanese telephone cards about? Can you actually use them for phoning in Japan? Cells? Public phones?

My Ltd. Ed. of Pork/Sweets from Amiami includes a phone card. I was lucky that one popped up while browsing the site so I thought bugger it. I'll get that.

I've noticed that editions including phone cards are quite a bit more expensive than ones without (I'm thinking of some of the other CAVE shmups for Xbox).
