I have been playing a lot of Giga Wing and Giga Wing 2 on the Dreamcast. Also received Psyvariar 2 in the mail today, so that will be thrown into the mix as well.

Spent some time with Muchi Muchi Pork today. It's harder than I though it would be after reading some comments on the MMP/PS thread (even 1.01 ). I've only managed to get to the stage 3 boss so far.

MMP Arrange mode seems pretty fun, too. Only played two credits so far, though, so it'll be a while before I can figure out how to score.

You know what's also pure Psikyo? Getting to Stage 1-6 with a bunch of lives and getting slaughtered because the enemies are firing bullets that my eyes can't physically track. That boss is a motherfucker.

Indeed, there is some crazy shit doing on in that mode for sure. Lard meter sure fills fast when you can manually absorb parachuting pigs by tapping shot. Then by slowing bullets with Lard shot at a certain point when the meter depletes past a point I think the blue enemy bullets start splitting into green suicide bullets which don't actually kill you iirc, when you get hit by them it seems to trigger a cash in multiplier... I think

Definitely a lot going on, I will stick primarily with 1.01, Stage 4 is a bitch!

DoDonPachi. Got my savestates for 1st loop stages and bosses all set up and ready to start practicing. Playing C-S type as it seems to be the easiest as far as crowd control and I'm practicing for a 1st loop clear. Not too worried about scoring. The game is fun enough to play for survival.

GwangeDash, now with Vic Viper, "XIIStag", this weird Broken Thunder-looking ship that's strange and awesome at the same time and a DFK-like ship.

Also, "Waiting For Deathsmiles", where I wait nearly 8 days for Deathsmiles to arrive on my doorstep. Call me impatient but I was expecting it within the week.

After Sunday's meet, I have realized my disappointment in my lack of Yagawa. Its killing me, and I have yet to find a decent-priced Garegga to buy

However, I did finally manage to down the stage 3 boss in Futari MBL Original. Actually made it to the last phase of the stage 4 boss. Stage 4 is nuts, but so much more managable than stage 3.
Only scored 130mil though, which doesn't seem nearly close to what I could have done.

Been playing a lot of Garegga again lately...but about to try some ESPgaluda.

Played some Ketsui earlier...man that game. I love the patterns but, and I never thought I'd say this about any shooter, playing for score completely ruins the game for me. The worst part is that no matter how hard I try I can't stop myself from going for score

As far as shmups go, still going at it with Pork (1.01) and Sweets (Arrange). Also been playing some Oblivion again, after I heard about the new one coming later this year.
