Sorry if a thread already exists for this...
I just saw Unknown with Liam Neeson, and the entire movie is based off of an older movie (from the 70's?) that I recall seeing a few years ago, though I can find no mention of the connection on the internet. I can't remember the name of the movie though... The premise was that some guy (a big name actor, can't remember who) and his wife went to Paris, and very soon something happens to him, and he loses his wife, and people start trying to kill him (because they think he's someone else??)... and then he ends up with this druggie girl, and stays in her apartment, and then while he's taking a shower, the guys who are trying to kill him bust into the apartment and try to kill him, but he escapes out of the bathroom window (that scene is recreated in Unknown). Sorry, I really don't remember much about it, but hopefully someone here knows what I'm talking about.
edit:
NEVERMIND, found it!! I was completely wrong about the decade... I found it by remembering that it was Harrison Ford.

Re: Need help remembering a movie
Yikes. So they've reMade Roman Polanski's Frantic

Re: Need help remembering a movie
Well, it's sort of a remake with a twist... but a shitty twist. The weird thing is that Unknown is supposed to be based on some 2003 french novel. Maybe everything that's not from Frantic is from that novel.
