As per all Cave games, restarting completely invalidates your current run's scores and achievements.

The restart issue is some serious bullshit when you just restart in stage 1. I've never understood the logic of it all. It's pretty tricky to get the Ura mid-boss in stage 1 in BL Arrange since you have to really point-blank the silos to destroy them quickly enough. I don't understand why Cave insists I go out to the title screen every damn time I screw up in the FIRST stage. How is that cheating?
