snes casemod ideas

Post by raigon50 »

So, I have an older SNES that has a yellow top (due to incorrect mixture of retardant in the batch of plastic) and I've been thinking about give it a make over. I've been thinking of things to do, but nothing to major. Maybe a paint job or something small but innovative.
I'm open to ideas if anyone has any.

Failure? Looks pretty cool to me. You masked off the M part rather well.

Yeah, I really like that, except I would probably have kept the SFC logo instead of the M and masked the circle in white.

seems to work well if you want things to look original.

I'm thinking a cool shmup-style design would awesom, but I'm not the best artist (I'm not bad, but I can't draw mechanical things to well.)
Any pics I could base a design off of would nice. I'm looking for Gradius or R-Type things.

That's fantastic. I wish it was known when I acquired my egret 29.

Yeah I guess the choices are either plastic gets yellow or your house burns down.
