So the soundtrack to a $10 game costs $30? I'd also be wary of that Akai Katana disc, given the almost certain release and accompanying LE version for 360.

And the last time a Cave release included an original soundtrack was.

In the blog post they promised more merchandise soon.

And they will take requests for items also.

I'm sure they started small to make sure things are working smoothly.

Both the SE and LE of Espgaluda2 for 360 included the soundtrack on CD. But that was the exception rather than the rule, right?

edit: I see the Ketsui LE included the soundtrack CD as well.

Deathsmiles LE, Deathsmiles IIX LE, DDP DFK LE, Espgaluda II regular and LE, Ketsui LE, Futari LE...

All of those come with soundtracks. Why the confusion? I'm just assuming that Akai Katana is coming out eventually, and will likely follow this trend.

Ketsui LE came with an arrange soundtrack (for DOJ and Ketsui), not the original soundtrack. Espgaluda II stands alone in bundling the original soundtrack with the game - but it wasn't a 1:1 copy of the actual soundtrack CD. The Voice collection and other stuff was removed in favor of putting in two arrange tracks.

Is the Akai Katana soundtrack any good anyway? I uses to like Cave's OST discs, but I felt indifferent towards the last few ones.

Lol, CAVE's paraphernalia is mostly junk.
Still waiting for a life size, fully functioning, Tiger Schwartz to b announced, WTF is taking them so long...

I must admit I enjoy the soundtracks, but the trinkets are above me. The gold stickers are nice though, wouldn't mind a free pack of those thrown in with LEs in the future! <you listening CAVE? I want free stickers!!>
