I don't know if I will be able to attend yet or not. If I do, I'll be in tow with Matskat.

We shall see how my vacation days play out at work. I'd love to come up there and 1cc a Ranalli's or Giordano's pizza. Well at least try to 1cc which would be quite the feat.

Pretty good - best Chicago style pizza is at Pizziera Uno downtown, best burger by far is at Kuma's - which we may have to go to, or at least get take out from, tons of good resturants by me and I can certainly make some good recommendations...

Doctor,

May I suggest steaks from Tavern on the Rush....

Dry aged beef, cut thick, cooked HOWEVER...

YUM!

(Tad pricey though...my last steak there was a bone-in ribeye = $45. Everything else is a la carte)

That takes me back...I use to work for the Chicago Fire (2002-2005) and our offices were on the corner of Michigan and Oak and we headed out that way often after work.

Thanks for the thoughts guys. Just a weird strange time right now, so I honestly have very little desire to play shooters at the moment. Trying to enjoy what time I have left with my dad.

Ahhhhh, our thoughts and prayers go out to you, Rob!

Do you need me to look after that awesome Batrider poster for you? You need someone to dust and polish it daily right?

Oh, I just found out that I owe the government thousands of dollars, so a trip to Chicago is not possible.

Maybe another time.

Hey drboom, I'm holding the SF Bay Area meet on Sunday the 6th as well. We gotta hook these two up somehow with livestreaming or something. :D

Live streaming would be great - problem is, I have no idea how to do it! :( Let me look into it and see if I can figure this out. I do have a Macbook with a camera built in, so it can't be that had to get it going...

I recommend making an account and broadcasting to ustream.tv using adobe flash media encoder. That's pretty much the standard for quick, easy, and free streaming.

Just checked out Fujita's store.

Great prices on a lot of stuff you see on these forums for MUCH more.

I might pickup a few items from them - thanks for the tip!

I'm hoping to be able to pop up for a while with the Michigan crew. It would be fun to put my meager skills to the test, and see if I can steal any strategies for myself!

@Matskat - I'll second Fujita - great prices and good people to work with. EMS shipping is bananas fast too.

@ubersaurus - be glad to have you! And I think most of us here have meager skills, except for stuminator - that guy is a monster!

Ugh. That sucks.

I'll be doing another event in the fall again, so hopefully that one will work out for everyone who cannot make it this time.
