I heard somewhere that progress on this just died, and the guy who was working on it doesn't plan to release the ROM.

Is that at all correct?

I'd like to have BL to try... I'll download MAME OSX, but I think I'm gonna take your advice on it being a boring BL variant.

I'll never be good enough to find the BL features accessible.

But, heres to hoping it won't be an ordeal for someone to release this.

The hack achieved what it set out to do, running the BL ROM on a WL PCB. There was nothing else planned.

Going the other way around could net you a real ESPKetsuda board, though. Wonder what those would sell for... ;)

Run pgm_ket_decrypt() on the Ketsui ROMs, then run pgm_espgal_decrypt() on the decrypted ROMs.
