Nice get on the ESPGALUDA. Be adviced that you're missing the 4th FULL AUTO button on your panel.

Thanks. I know...I was going through the service menu and saw the option was ON, I turned it OFF because I never use autofire on 'Galuda. My other vert games are only 3 buttons max anyway....
My other Aero City has a 6 button CP with a modified JAMMA harness for 4th button (+Neo Geo) + a Capcom kick harness.

SOme day when I get Deathsmiles, I'll play it on my udder cab....

I still think it's wise to replace the battery if you're not sure of the age , why wait until it really starts to corrode ?
Cost just a couple of bucks and is a minute work , my DDP Doj came with a corroded battery that looked like a dead Hamster on one side and the stuff that leaks out is nasty although some people make it out to be a bad as Alien Flem and you must use baking powder , Soda , Vitriol and 2 weeks of Voodoo chanting to get rid of it , a little bit of alcohol cleaned it up nicely .

Sorry, but the only thing that DIP setting does is alter the laser shot engage time (I could be imagining this though). You can't turn the D button full auto off. Also if you have a panel with 4 buttons, holding down C+D while starting puts the barrier button on D and full auto on C. 8)

For Casey120,

Cool reference to the first Alien film regarding highly acidic and corrosive alien blood to represent a leaking Varta battery's contents.

Yeah, I'm not so sure.

The proof is indeed in the pudding, as I've been playing now for several hours and my style of play in unaffected by the lack of full-auto. I own Galuda on PS2 and regularly play on MAME as well - I just don't use it.

Button 1 = Shot\Focus
Button 2 = SexChange Mode
Button 3 = Barrier

I think that's all I need.

The Service Menu says "D Button Full Auto" ON/OFF

Just sayin'

No it doesn't, it doesn't mention the D button at all. Emphatic is right.

Sho' 'nuff!

My bad. I stand co-corrected!

Regardless of that though, the game is not impacted by my decision to play the PCB on a cabinet with only 3 buttons, as that's how I'm accustomed to playing this particular title.

Awesome game - glad to own it!

This is true. My post was merely a "heads up" on the "you can move the barrier/full auto button configuration in a cool secret way" kinda deal. ^_~

Totally understood!

Thanks for the tip, as I never would have figured that out on my own.
Much like the cat from Uo Poko as a playable ship in Feveron! (and the "code" to get a chain timer in ESP Ra.De)

Really - thanks, Emphatic! (by the way I read your entire blog - good stuff)

Now...if anyone would kindly point me to a Mushihimesama Kit\PCB I'll be one step closer to completing my desired collection...

Ha  - not really - I gave him a stellar trade deal for some bike stuff as I work for a bike components company. He got the better of this deal by a large margin if we are talking retail/market pricing.
