If you use mplayer you can rotate it in real-time with a command line switch.

mplayer -vf rotate=1 for clockwise rotation,
mplayer -vf rotate=2 for cc rotation.

NIIIIIIIIICE. Whether this game is any good is irrelevant at this point, the art rocks. Thanks, looks like I'm going have to shell out for the art kit at the very least in the future (ouch says the wallet).

Click the thumbnail image for the big version. There's no way I can fit the full-size cardboard one on the scan plate, the small one only just managed to fit on ;)
Resized it you say? Do you have the original, larger version? I would very much like that.

I would too -- some of you guys might consider this kind of lame, I dunno, but the reason I want scanned Ibara artwork is that I do large format printing for a job, and I want to make a poster out of it.

Ya ya ya. Okay, original size scans of flyers. All RAR'ed, between 6MB to 10MB, 600dpi JPEGs.

Image Image Image

I threw in the Mushi one as well, for those who haven't seen Reko at high detail ;)

Good lord, I can see her skin cells. Thanks for the scans, I would totally make a poster out of this if I knew how to.

FANfreakintastic! I know I'm pushing it but any chance we could get high res scans of the poster?

Icarus is the man. Thanks so much. If anyone is interested, you can go to www.zazzle.com and make a poster from the hi-res images. I think it's about $20 for a pretty big one, and about $15 for one the original size.

Thanks for the zazzle link. Does anyone know about a place that will print posters like that site, but give you a discount if you make alot of em?

This way, myself or someone else could submit the image, have a buttload of them printed at a discount, then pass the savings along to other forum members...sorta like a group order.

edit: just noticed the discount on zazzle...but that discount blows. Anybody know of a site with a better one?

I think a local Kinko's would be able to make poster print outs.

They can, but Kinko's are usually pretty strict about copyright. If they see a (c) on the image, you'll have to convince the clerk to let you print it.

Exactly. When I got my Dodonpachi PCB it came with the promo flyer and it was creased and worn. I downloaded the one from The Sheep's site and tried to have them print it and they promptly said no. Zazzle, however, printed it for me, and it looks great!

I don't think I like that first poster...it seems...well...sad or something.

Heh, well, I doubt if anyone is willing to do this, but a lot of repro house type places have large format scanners for scanning blueprints, etc. They can easily do a 300dpi scan of a 24x36 poster, although they usually don't clean them up at all.

Sorry to derail the thread from Ibara but I had to show this.

I submitted the Mushihime poster scan(thanks again) to Zazzle.com and ordered a "huge" size poster print of it, and it arrived lightning fast.
My goodness...look at the size of this fucker:

Drummania cd added for scale. The poster is great quality and was also very well packaged, rolled with another large sheet of brown paper to protect it. So, Zazzle gets a thumbs up from me.

OMG that looks incredible. I have a feeling Zazzle is going to get a lot of business from shmuppers now.

Who scanned it originally and how much does it cost?

Icarus posted the scan, don't know if he scanned it himself or not. The huge print(I think it was like 49" tall) is 34 bucks, the large is somethin like 25 I think. Not very cost effective if you wanna wallpaper your room with em, but it's a great way to make custom posters. The possibilities are endless! :D

I was planning to buy a poster frame for this but it was bigger than I had figured it'd be...maybe I can make my own somehow :?

I have the original flyers of the scans I posted earlier in this thread. Is there a problem with the scans?

No, it turned out beautifully but I've been looking at it more carefully and I can see a few places where there were specs of dust on your scanner and a small hair/thread  Not noticeable unless someone was looking for problems, but if anyone else wants to use it for a poster they might could clean it up some; the hair is on the extreme left edge beside the 4th japanese character down. It could be cropped out too.

Yeah, well, when you use the scanner as much as I do, both for work and for fw.net, it picks up all sorts of wear, tear and dirt :P I never notice stuff like that when I speedscan, only if I need to use a high res scan for a personal project or commission.

Shouldn't be too hard to clone out/retouch using Healing Brush and Clone Stamp...

Is anyone allowed to post or email me a scan of that fist green poster in the 4th post? I'd like to make a poster out of that, but I can't really find one for sale anywhere, so buying an original is out of the question...and I don't know if it is allowed and I don't want to break any rules, but there's already scans of the artwork up, so I figure a scan or high quality digital pic of the poster would be allowed...

I printed out posters of all three at work, they came out great- especially the Mushi one. I cloned all the dust out and did a little descreening on them, so if anyone wants the clean files, hit me up with a PM.

Does anyone have a high resolution scan of this picture, or the picture itself that can be scanned.

Would really appreciate it.
