I've got an old Neo Geo AES in my loft -got two games for it- both fighting games.
Anyway, the picture on the AES used to be fine, but since plugging it in yesterday I've noticed that the picture whlst you can see it- rolls and doesn't display properly.
How easy is it to fix a Neo Geo AES display -which is basically working, but perhaps has a loose connection?
Also -I'm considering buying a few Shmups for the AES- I've got pulstar for my Neo Geo CD- really enjoy it.
Would quite like to play it on my AES though. I've looked on ebay and Pulstar goes for very high prices- but there is also an MVS conversion which is a lot cheaper. -What is the difference?
Cheers for any help

You'll probably get a better response asking these on the Neo-Geo forums.
Re: Neo Geo Shmups and MVS conversions
A 'conversion cart' is a game that's had it's ROM chips replaced with those from an MVS cart. Basically, the MVS version of Pulstar (or Blazing Star, Metal Slug, Twinkle Star Sprites etc.), along with a compatible AES donor cart is going to work out cheaper than an original authentic AES cart.NAVVARR wrote:I've looked on ebay and Pulstar goes for very high prices- but there is also an MVS conversion which is a lot cheaper. -What is the difference?
