They don't want someone asking for "Goo Wang" and being redirected to a porn shop. However, they're not happy with literal translations either. They don't want to put a box with Angry Bee Boss or Rose Garden on the shelf next to Assassin's Creed or Resident Evil.

So, let's see if you can come up with something better than Mobile Light Force. The mainstream success of shmups is in your hands. Will "Vicious Wasplord: A Fitting End" top the charts?! "Lord of the Bees: You Are Already Dead"? "You Don't Mess With Don Bee: Have An Appropriate Death"?

Hehe theres some great shmup names posted by you chaps, but personally I like all these shmups having strange names as it makes it easier for me to remember even if I cant spell them

Imagine if every game was like Rayforce aka Layer section, Galactic Attack and Gunlock we would all go stark raving mad.

Anyway im in agreement with observer we need more 80s action heros selling our shmups or as somebody commented in a recent YT DUX review vid "It needs more Van Damme and BLOODSPORT!!!"
