1.5 Xbox 360:
Erppo - 254,759,532,111 - 2-2 Boss Tsuujou - C-P

This is it, the best I've ever done in a shmup. I fully chained everything in the first loop, except a bit of 1-3 where I got hit near the end. Earned place 24 in the leaderboards, and even got the replay uploaded.

I don't think I'm going to try to improve this very soon. There's clearly still a lot of room for optimization in the first loop, but most of that is really tricky stuff that would make everything way riskier.

Again, awesome score, Erppo!

Threw another few credits at Type A, a couple of improvements here and there.

1.5 Xbox 360
Sapz - 21,727,860,484 - 2-5 Tsuujou - A-Bomb
Sapz - 53,334,363,865 - 1-5 - A-Power

First time getting the 40b stage 3 chain with A-P, then nerves caught up with me and I started chaining my deaths instead.

Very impressive run! I've got my work cut out for me :P
I watched your replay, I know what you mean with the way riskier part, cause I've seen in stage 5 where you opt to hyper in the tricky chaining spots (like after the 2nd midboss, and a moment after that where you have to destroy the 2nd big tank) are hard to pull off, its quite a trade off between risk and reward, but keeping the chain going for the stage is better than losing it for a few extra enemies at that 10k+ multiplier.

thanks for the congratulations everyone! :D
my goal was to beat Shalashaska's score but somehow i got a nice 2nd loop performance at that run and even beat KOA even though i didn't get every flashing bee at the loop. (i never thought i could keep up with that score)
and because i finally can constantly survive stage 5 without failing i will try to increase a little bit more befor moving to the next game.

hope to post my fist 2-all score here soon. :)

1.5 Xbox 360:
moozooh — 1,591,026,697 — 1-5 — B-P

Warming up to the Power style. It does make the game quite a bit more challenging (stage 5 being the worst offender, of course, as I normally get there with three spare lives in stock and game over before the boss), but the ship is so amazingly balanced just controlling it properly is a huge pleasure by itself. A-P is definitely out of my league, though, it's nearly uncontrollable in Normal mode and the shot doesn't cover much of the screen for me to stay alive reasonably.

Novice:
moozooh — 68,764,645,650 — 2-5 Tsuujou — B-P

Blew the 6k hit chain in 2-5 by dying on a the first midboss. Argh! Also died after an excellent 6k chain in stage 2 on the last two large enemies. 2-4 no-missed, which I believe is a first for me. Damn this ship is awesome!

Arrange A:
moozooh — 114,933,205,140 — 1-5

Warming up to this mode as well. Got into 12th digit by the second hour. This mode becomes magically easier to manage when you score well due to all the abundant slowdown that happens when you spend a minute in unboosted hyper consecutively and then do it again and again. Also, holy shit at the bees. My stage 1 score jumped by an order of magnitude between the midboss and the warning screen. o_0

1.5 Xbox 360
Sapz - 22,323,648,964 - 2-ALL Tsuujou - B-S

That just leaves C-S before I've got a Tsuujou clear with all Strong style ships. It still baffles me how so many people pick B or C over A... they seem so slow and weak in comparison. :|

Heh you guys are hard to keep up with :)

I finally got my 1-ALL on Friday but my score was only a little bit better than what I posted so I figured I'd wait... Haven't even had a chance to play a full credit since then though, and practice mode based on superplay vids is hard even for stage 2... :)

1.5 Xbox 360
Sapz - 36,432,268,089 - 2-ALL Tsuujou - A-S

On a completely seperate run today, I did an 0D1B first loop and finally made it into Ura. :P Game over on Taisabachi with just a sliver of health left... so close to Hibachi. Ura seems significantly harder than Tsuujou, the midbosses don't change the difficulty much by the higher rank and the three-way helicopters are absolutely brutal. Laser wheels are a total nightmare with them.

EDIT: Another nice run!

1.5 Xbox 360
Sapz - 35,560,741,497 - 2-ALL Tsuujou - A-B

Nabbed the 2-ALL with A-Bomb. I think this proves conclusively that A-B is easier to use than C-S! Vid of it here: first loop, second loop.

Started on Arrange B today. Damn, is this port ever not fun?

moozooh — total — 22,163,284
moozooh — area 1 — 6,943,012
moozooh — area 2 — 5,155,356
moozooh — area 3 — 10,064,916

Haven't tried 4 and 5 yet, but hoping to get at least 20 million out of them.

How would you suggest I make the table for Arrange B? Maybe a score for each area and also the total area?

Well if anyone here can do it, it'd probably be you, you're the two prominent A-Ship user here.

Yes, exactly. The game doesn't differentiate between ship types and customizations, so you only need to list "name — score" for each area and the total.

Also, new Arrange B scores:

moozooh — total — 35,017,611
moozooh — area 4 — 2,938,367
moozooh — area 5 — 9,915,960

Area 4 is a bitch to score in. Area 5, on the other hand, is a gold mine. Pushing it to over 15 million shouldn't be a huge problem.

Also, I've just realized that you score really, really high at max rank. The top area 1 replay is almost 500 million, and it has both red and blue rank maxed out. o_0

If you're planning to take Black Label Arrange scores:

Black Label Arrange
Sapz - 225,595,610,652 - 5

Both modes are really excellent so far.

B-LH is the superior type for survival.

moozooh — total — 56,292,525
moozooh — area 1 — 13,459,740
moozooh — area 2 — 8,058,460
moozooh — area 3 — 17,135,835
moozooh — area 4 — 6,426,193
moozooh — area 5 — 13,019,297

50 million total achievement get! Some of these replays are on the leaderboards; I'd upload all of them, but sometimes the game just doesn't ask. Go figure. :\

(And yeah, Van_Artic, I'll beat your stage 5 score on Monday!)

This is ridiculous, but for me Arrange B is alone worth the entire port's cost! You guys should play it more; it offers a challenge no other shmup offers.

moozooh — total — 80,363,463
moozooh — area 1 — 22,755,698
moozooh — area 2 — 10,005,063
moozooh — area 3 — 26,776,250
moozooh — area 4 — 4,661,538
moozooh — area 5 — 16,164,914

Really proud of my areas 1 and 3. All replays available on the leaderboards, they're all in top-10. :D

Will return when I tack another 5 million total.

moozooh — 345,713,849,988 — EX Boss — B-S

Taking a short break from Arrange B to update other scores. I won't get BL until late March at the least, but it seems I'll be thoroughly occupied even with what I currently have!

[EDIT]
Ok, I lied. I played Arrange B some more, reclaiming my top-10 positions in the process.

moozooh — total — 93,486,397
moozooh — area 1 — 27,226,638
moozooh — area 2 — 17,854,919 (this one's #3 on the leaderboards, only 6.5 mil below the top)
moozooh — area 3 — 26,776,250
moozooh — area 4 — 5,462,676
moozooh — area 5 — 16,164,914

All replays are on the leaderboards this time. Next stop: 100 million total.
Oh and by the way, the guy who owns area 1 upped his score to 543 million. Fucking insane, even SIN doesn't come close.

Hey yall, I need to mention here that I would be updating the scores with Black Label as necessary, but I really don't have time to update anymore as crazy as that might sound. I would advise someone to take over for me with a new DFK+DKF BL thread if yall want more frequent updates...otherwise I can only promise updates every couple weeks.
