i picked up a korean bootleg of FixEight on the super-ultra-cheap, and there's a couple issues that i'm not sure how to work around.
the first is the audio. i'm aware the bootleg has very poor audio (it's the one emulated in MAME), but the actual volume is very distorted, and cuts in and out. what would i have to replace on the PCB to fix it up?
second is the fact that for some reason it seems to sync at 50hz? my supergun displays it fine (albeit not in the right direction

) on my un-tated hitachi (which can sync to euro (and isn't gonna be tated - it's a 32" CRT!)), but my other TVs just roll the picture. as far as i know the bootleg doesn't actually sync at 50hz from what i've seen before, so what's up with that? right now my supergun is just through composite, but i have a SCART cable and component converter for it coming in the mail. since the component converter is powered also upscales 50hz to 60, this will obviously help out, but i'm wondering if there's a setting on the board that i'm not seeing or something. i know the official board has region switches, but there's not really any docs on the boot.
any help would be awesomely appreciated, but if not, hey, i can't complain much for the price i picked it up for ($20), and the fact that it'll work in a cabinet if and when i get one
