I played DOJ X-mode a week or so ago, need to go back to that soon.

Mostly just waiting on DFK BL. There's a shitton of shmups soon. Bullet Soul, Otomedius X, Eschatos, MMP/PS, and DFKBL release all within the next 3 months. No need to cram history up until then.

I recently got a copy of Super Street Fighter IV... and yeah, my shmupping took a side for this past month as I've been making use of a XBL gold subscription as well. I even went to my first tournament last week and beat a couple dudes.

I couldn't hide long, I'm finding myself sneaking back to them as a source of enjoyment and I'm sure it will become routine once again. Right now I'm in between shmups as far as something to strongly concentrate on (street fighter is taking the slice), casually giving a couple credits to various games: Thunder Cross, Raiden, Revolver360. And slowly building on my knowledge of Ketsui the past couple months.

Heh, I think the last time I played a shmup was at the last Phoenix Shmup-meet (like 6 months ago). Maybe once I get my office cleaned up at home I'll toss one of my old faves into the namco cab.

I think shmups require so much focus that I can't bear it right now since I'm working a lot and am already stressed with work.
Def took a hit on my new year res but I probably needed a break eheh.
