I bought it for 9€ from Amazon marketplace the other day (new&sealed). So no. $50 is way too expensive.

It pops up every now and again at a nearby shop for only $17 complete.

Great game, but the highest you should pay is $35.

Also the girl is more usefull than riki, since her shots fly faster and don't get distracted by a homing mechanism.

i just skipped this thread fast as fuck, but dont listen to anything elixir says regarding gameplay, like that type C in DDP is useless or the girl in bangaio is useless, what the hell?

its not worth 50$, get the pal version for cheap, download a boot disc, play it. or do you like to pay more for your stuff?

its a very good game, its just that its by treasure so its automatically overrated, treasure fans are not capable of critical judgement.

oh and there's no storyline, its just random bits of text put together.

and i need to beat that effin last boss.

Bangai-O is one of the most fun and intense games ever, on par with Strider, Gunstar Heroes, and Shinobi 3. To this day I regret not getting a legit copy when I had the chance...
