I played way too much of that game in Elementary school - seriously - like everyday for a few months.. Isn't there something before that quote? Like "Ninja Skills... will help you!"Stormwatch wrote:Kid Niki - Radical Ninja:

Wot? That's Bloody Wolf, which is a PC Engine game. That's not what he says in the PCE version, so I guess that's the arcade one..?cj iwakura wrote:Technically NES, but still.

Just play Cadash arcade, every screen is full of awesome engrish. I wonder why I haven't tried it earlier.
Talking about cadash, anyone knows if I should play the arcade version or console ports? Is the arcade even possible to 1CC?

Re: Best Engrish phrases in Japanese arcade games
This is probably more translators having fun, but in Great Greed, there's a part where the hero finds out everyone has been slaughtered. She then proclaims, "How lame!"
Humans, think about what you have done
Re: Best Engrish phrases in Japanese arcade games
It is very doable. Saw a ninja playthrough on youtube - all he used was skill (the ninja is probably the best character though). Haven't played the console versions nearly as much to note the differences (other than far less hilarious translation - damn you Working Designs - and no Priest or Ninja on the MD version). The vagrant wrote:Just play Cadash arcade, every screen is full of awesome engrish.
