I like this thread, If a game is good having tit in it just makes the game even better. Its just a shame 99.99999999999% of H games are shite and finding the good ones can be like looking for a needle in hay stack, a very large hay stack.

Ive only ever tried 3 visual novels and they didnt agree with me that much, although I did try watching a fan translated verion of Saya no Uta and it seemed quite promising but unfortunatly it was too buggy on my PC.

Ive noticed that theres a few H visual novels that are starting to incorperate trational gameplay and the quality seems to be improving over time. Has anyone played any of hese games? any good ones?
What im talking about are games like Blood Soul, Gadget trail, Balderforce or is it Baldersky. (the impressions I have of them are that thetre quite crap, but is that so bad that its good (like many doujins are) or so bad that its just not fun to play)

sengoku rance is a nice game to run through. Its translated as well... Its like advance wars I think.. Main Char is a total asshole, but its funny because of that.

It is a really good game. But, just as a kinda warning, be prepared for copious amounts of rape.

*Someone* is working on translating the earlier Rance games as well, but if I recall correctly there were some issues hacking the game. Not sure if that has been resolved or not yet.

I made a thread asking about Hentai-esque games a couple of months ago and Danza pointed me in the direction of Swan Song, a visual novel. I just finally beat it the other night, and goddamn, it blew me away. Maybe the most depressing plot in anything I've encountered in some time. Yeah, there are sex scenes, but they are always relevant with the story, and (usually) in good taste.

Ah, I'm happy to hear you enjoyed Swan Song! It is depressing. One end especially, was particularly nasty and made me feel terrible for a few days.

Most VNs make me pretty depressed, especially when it is over. Because they are generally pretty long you end up really liking some of the characters and the story, then when it is finished its kinda sad. Pretty lame I know, meh.

I tend to agree, but the H scenes in Saya no Uta are kind of fitting. Especially compared to Fate/Stay Night. That is a game that really didn't need those scenes and the scenes are just awful. "I felt as if I was going to vomit with pleasure", god.

I've been playing G-Senjou no Maou (The Devil on G-String) more recently and it is really good. It is kinda like, a criminal is working on a large scale plan to harm society and a really intelligent girl is trying to stop him. Sort of like a cat and mouse type situation with mind games. Its hard to explain properly. There is still the whole high-school setting and comedy etc, but there are some really epic and tear-jerking moments.

Visual Novels always start out pretty slow too. I think this may put people off a lot of the time.

Real Kanojo was pretty entertaining :p Its the only actual H-game I've played in many years. You had to find different actions and dialog to do and say to find different ways to fuck hot, well-rendered 3D girls. Takes a decent PC to run correctly, though, and translation/uncensor patches help, too.

Level 8 seems to be a macross light assault in airspace...

Surprised that noone has mentioned Gal Pani X yet, which is Gals Panic except it doesn't suck. It plays as a mix of Qix and a shmup. I think it kinda counts as pervy because if you uncover enough of a girl you get a second stage where she's in her underwear.

Tifatan X2 is kinda fun too, the original Tifatan X was just a clone of Spartan X (you know, Kung Fu for NES) but in Tifatan X2 you get a lot of different moves you can do (best part is using jump kicks to bounce between enemies and when you have a large enough combo your kicks are now on fire). And have Tifa get molested by Lilith, Mai and whoever the girl with the shield is. Athena, I think.

Bubble Bath Babes for the NES, which was never actually released, is a somewhat decent puzzle game with, well, bubble bath babes. In glorious 8-bit.
