I didn't want to say this. I'm glad you can say it for me Drauch. I really hope someone can make a movie where somehow Mel Gibson or Keven Costner is made a slave as part of the trans-atlantic slave trade, and fights protecting Frederick Douglas so he can write his book. Frederick Douglas dies before he can finish it, so Gibson/Costner finished the last chapter.

In the sequel to this movie, Costner/Gibson travels through time to the 60's, where MLKjr is assassinated early and The last honkey has to finish his I have a dream speach. Oh yes, I will have watery eyes.

Edit: Wait, didn't cruise get the hot Japanese chick at the end of Last Samurai??? I can only guess what the parallel will be in the movie(s) I have outlined above.

Edit2: To be fair, I had watery eyes watching Grizzly Man the other night, but yeah, shouldn't you?

I also hate The Last Samurai. Not because of the directing, or cinematography, or story, or acting (from everyone besides Tom Cruise) - those things are objectively good - but because saying I hate it shows how totally un-wapanese I am.

I cry all the time watching stuff. I am very sentimental, so it's easy for me. But I have very dry eyes this time of year, so it's all good. 8)

I had watery eyes watching Top Gun because it was so bad I wanted to put my head in my hands and cry.

Thank god for Rifftrax.

The Last Samurai?
Come on, the only way you could cry about that is the horrible acting of Tom Cruise or the total bastardization of Japanese culture.

So i'll be the first to be a man and admit the three times a form of media has had that much of an emotional effect.

Metal Gear Solid 3 - The ending and the weight of what Snake had to do, plus the game forcing you to pull the trigger made this difficult.

Grave of the Fireflies - Come on this is about the most depressing animated film ever made. Though it was a mix of sadness and anger

Anything involving the death of a beloved animal - I kind of have a week spot for this. I'm one of those people who form deep attachments to their pets.
