Whaaat, Cave directing a video at not only the Japanese. But us as well?
Cave starting to step further in the right direction it looks like.
And, I'm so getting DDPDFK for my iPhone now. That video sold me.

The mobile games/Caveworld division has been the one arm of Cave that has been eager to interact with users outside of Japan, I'm pretty sure it's the same folks (MASAKING, et. al.) behind the Cave twitter and facebook as well.

Their arcade division is probably content to be big fish in a little pond.

@bluermlou Arcade mode type C! Power mode. Ranked 15th in the world! Done whilst waiting at the Barber Shop for a haircut
Not many people can keep chaining while getting a shampoo!
We salute your fortitude.
Isn´t this cute? You might already know, but we hit #1 on the iTunesStore for top sales on our first day out in Japan!!! #1 baby, my dearest wish has been fulfilled!
I want to thank everyone who has picked the game up, thank you very much.
This is a very gratifying moment for our development staff.
Incidentally, we also hit #1 for sales in Hong Kong and #3 for paid apps, #2 in sales for France and #10 for paid apps, and entered the top 10 for China and America!
Bit by bit, the Resurrection spreads…I’m really about to cry here.

Re: Hibachi Unlock Code: DDPDFK for iPhone
They have some good English. I wonder, is that them or somebody translating for them? Maybe the mobile department should be the ones /making/ the games.
I laughed at the thought in comparison to the main development team... sitting in a room with cobwebs all around, then through the other door is the modern bright-lit happy-go workers in the mobile team.
I am by no means a good shmup player, but the DFK iPhone mode is just insanely fun for me, same goes for ESPGaluda II's iPhone mode.

That's because you don't need to hit the first A. Haha...setsuan wrote:Hi guys,

Re: Hibachi Unlock Code: DDPDFK for iPhone
Umm, I was wondering. Is there a list somewhere for all of the achievements?
I would like to know what the rest of the hidden ones are.
So far I have 32 out of 47 achievements, and it doesn't list the full 47.

Re: Hibachi Unlock Code: DDPDFK for iPhone
Can somebody point out what I did wrong here?
I played iPhone mode, Type-B ship. I triggered the hidden route on the first Stage and collected enough bees to continue through the hidden route the entire game, saw that weird animation to show that it changes and I recognized the DDP mid-bosses.
I lost one life on the last stage when those fucking circling beam things come, beat the last boss and it just took me back to the start screen... >_<
EDIT: Ohh, I wasn't aware that in the URA loop you needed to get all 45 bees, well fuck. Guess I have to go learn their spots.
Another question then..
Do I fight Taisabachi in the normal second loop? As well as Hibachi.
Or is that only in the URA loop.
