Have anybody else run into this yet? Worse yet, are you one yourself? They fill up a thread with unsubstanciated BS and when it gets locked, they claim it proves the conspiracy. The latest theory is that Sega is cracking down now in preparation for an announcement in 2012. Hmm, 2012. Coincidence? I think not . .

Does this mean that Sega will make a Dreamcast 2 or a Saturn 2?
Or will Sega finally make the Neptune? you can make it yourself, but it is not the same!
The Dreamcast 2 should be backwards compatible with the Saturn and the sega master system.

Considering how the Dreamcast is one of the systems where all I do is have fun I would love for Sega to make an actual successor and for the conspiracy nuts to be right. I've been playing the damn thing on and off for a decade and I'm still enjoying it. Plenty of fighting games, quite a few SHMUP's, no trophies or achievements to make me OCD, and a small, tight library of other goodies.

Hell, if they made a Dreamcast 2 I wouldn't care if they made it backwards compatible. My Dreamcast won't be going anywhere. Then again, for a company to leave a console market and then make a backwards compatible option for a system that came out before the new millennium really is wishful thinking.

Hey! Stop making fun of what I like or I will angrily type about it over the Internet!

I'm not going to lie, I've had to repair the controller board a few times. I finally got a kind of resistor that when it blows it just switches off, cools, then trips back to being usable. Never had an overheating problem, though. I've had to clean the laser once, too, but the thing just keeps on trucking.

Also, Sega is a conglomerate between the Sufis and the Freemasons and the Dreamcast was the child of their covenant.

Someone posted on an anime forum I go to that Sega was making RingWide/RingEdge a console. He was banned for other reasons (namely saying stuff anime execs supposedly told him) but I remember hearing he was on GAF or some other forum saying stuff like "they're making a Naomi 3" and shit.
