Imma describe Space Duel for those who didn't click my youtube link:

Gameplay-wise it's heavily based on Asteroids. There are two 2 player modes - tethered and free. In tethered you and your special one share score and are joined by a fuse - kind of like Knuckles Chaotix. When one player's ship is hit, their ship slows down and they become a bit more of a burden. A hit to either ship causes that ship to explode and the fuse to alight, sending a spark down the line to the other player, destroying them. Score is shared in this mode.
In free mode, players are competing for score, but there are still some coop elements. When one player shoots the other, they disappear from play temporarily which A) keeps them safe from being destroyed by enemies and B) allows you to steal their kills.

Game is rad. Designed by Owen Rubin, same dude who did the astonishing Major Havoc, Battlezone, Marble Madness and Tunnel Hunt.

I LOVE Twin Cobra but playing 2p can be frustrating since sometimes with your partners movements the screen will shift and the shots do too. This effectively pulls you into appropriately dodged shots quite often.

Twinkle Star Sprites is a RIOT playing with friends, kinda boring vs computer.

Drinking games while playing Twinkle Star Sprites... It turns in to some pretty nasty gaming.
Google Translate tells me that Unlimited Mode "is for people who like festivals."

Drinking + Twinkle Star Sprites = Good Times.... It gets tough to follow everything when it starts to blur together. I like it when you don't really "remember" the round per se, but in the end you won both rounds without taking a hit somehow lol!!

I enjoy Shikigami no Shiro 2, just because I get a new ridiculous story everytime I try different charecters together.

Also have been trying Mushi Futari with my gf, and that game gets so insane on 2 player. All my focus is gone and I can't combo worth shit.

Gradius 5 and Ikaruga had the most 2 player playtime for me. I think it works well with these two games.
Espgaluda III needs to happen.

Geeze how on earth did I forget Gradius V. Probably spent more time doing this one 2 player than any others. Still haven't unlocked ship edit either. =(
