There are a forum like this for arcade non-shmup games?

I am making a shmuppy paddle and ball game.

But most of the comunities I found were around totally different stuff (like FPS, IndieDB for example is very FPS centric... TigSource is platformer centric...), the closes thing is this forum, but my game is not exactly a shmup, you can finish some levels without shooting at all...

So, someone know a community of arcade game players?

Drauch, shmuppy paddle and ball game because even in levels without any moving enemy I made it with some shmup influence...

For example in the game you have 8 powers, that if you activate in the right manner you can get way more score (this is from Radiant Silvergun), also it has a very complex scoring system, with many combos also from Radiant Silvergun, and the multiplier system from another one that I forgot the name (I never played, the the rules were online and I liked them, so I made a variation).

And some levels are straight out shmup, the last level for example you cannot even use the ball (well, you can, but you are likely to lose, it is easier to finish this finish this level focusing on shooting)

Nah, Neo-Geo had all sorts like sports, racing, puzzle games, platformers, etc. Might be a good place to check out.

It is, but neogeo.com is about everything, from games on the system, to hurling insults at people you don't know and never will!! Haha, it's actually not that bad, it's just a big community.
