Re: Christmas loot thread
Yeah, that MD Arcade Stick was sold in the USA under the official name of "Sega Genesis Arcade Power Stick" with a MSRP of $59.99 USD back in 1989-1990. I like how solid the weighted bottom base is, given Sega's past arcade pedigree in the arcades/game centers. The 6-button variant endowed official Genny/MD Arcade Stick ain't too shabby as well, albeit with smaller push buttons (compared to the bigger push buttons found on the original 3-button MD/Genny Arcade Stick release).
Otomo-san also did the manga & live-action film of "World Apartment Horror"...check it out sometime.
PC Engine Fan X! ^_~

Re: Christmas loot thread
Lots:
* BlackBerry 8900
* Sonic Colors [so much better than Sonic 4, it's a bit sad]
* Punch Out Wii
* finally did the download thing, got Sonic 4, MM9 and 10, Sin and Punishment [feels harder with a GC controller, despite being able to see now compared to in PJ64], F-Zero X [why does it get so choppy at times?], Alien Soldier, and Gunstar Heroes.
* a Phillips MP3 player
In other news, the best haul I've had in YEARS.

My buddy got me this for Christmas. I'm pumped! I've only ever emulated the game, but I always wanted a real copy.

That's a mighty impressive expanse of nothing...how much did it cost, I wonder?Drachenherz wrote:I got this:

I got a camera lens for the wrong system. Was damn Amazon's fault for sending the wrong one out. Unfortunately I had to go through them because they had the relatively cheap equipment I wanted and the actual lens isn't one that's found on all other sites, either.
It is a nice lens though, but since it's going back I can't manhandle it much.
I can't complain about the volume / value of stuff, not in the least!

The Genesis model 3 FUCKING ROCKS! The system is only twice as big as the carts and it is physically compatible with the Japanese carts.louisg wrote:I got:

$100 iTunes card here, that's it.
To be fair though, I'm a bit difficult to buy for at this point.

A frying pan
$300 in cash total (that all went towards a traffic citation and new tags).
Batman: Arkham Asylum via Steam gift from my friend a second ago.
Would have been a lot better score had the city not decided to stop sending out tag renewal notices. Oh and there is a late fee now, imagine that.
