Anyone want to add me as a XBL friend (thejigsawman)? My scores are pathetic but would be good to have someone to compare against and only a couple of people I know have PB FX2.

Even if it's a standalone title, it's no different than buying Zen Pinball DLC if they charge $10 for it ($2.50 per table).

X-Men table please

EDIT: http://www.marvelpinball.com/

They're making a poll on the official site asking which table they should release next: Captain America, Hulk, Fantasic Four or Ghost Rider. So far, Ghost Rider is winning.

The Pro Pinball tables are on sale on Good Old Games for $3 each.

I guess Marvel Pinball is out on PSN today. Any reports from the 360 version?

Pretty standard Zen fare. I found Spidey to be pretty enjoyable, despite hating licensed tables.

I honestly have not spent much time with it. I will say that there seems to be a pretty nasty U-turn in the upper-right corner of the table.

The sound effects, specifically the voices, are all-around horrible.

Gameplay of all four Marvel Pinball tables here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Bi8AXBEfrU

Personally I'm not sure if I'm going to buy it. Never been a fan of Marvel Universe (except for X-Men) and I already have Zen Pinball and the Williams Collection for my pinball fix.

Tables seem pretty good for the most part. The Spiderman table seemed like the most enjoyable one so far and had a nice flow to it. Blade seemed a little cluttered and the sinkholes disrupted the flow somewhat, but maybe I'll get used to it.

"despite hating licensed tables."

Personally, the tables being licensed or based on Marvel characters isn't a big deal as far as I'm concerned. I enjoyed the developer's tables in Zen Pinball, so I'm going to assume that any new tables they make are going to be of a similar standard regardless of what the theme is.

Picked up the Williams Collection on PS3 a couple weeks ago, really enjoying it. But goddamn, the Williams Challenge is annoying as hell. Got all the way up to Sorcerer on my last attempt and kept losing all my goddamn multiballs to the outlanes so I was never able to get a multiplier score going

But the game is great, anyone who hasn't picked it up yet should do so. It made me want a real Medieval Madness table :(

Aaaaand finally completed it! Medieval Madness had me sweating a bit though, got to my last ball on my last retry with 10 million, but I managed to get a bunch of multiballs going and wound up with 50 million on that one ball  .

Aargh, you've beaten all my scores already (which I didn't think were that bad). You're way too good for me.

What's the best way to rack up points on Blade? Seems to take me ages to score anything on that table.

To be honest I haven't played that table much. I was really lucky and had a game going for like 30 minutes, so I managed to score high but I had no idea what I was doing.

For now I'm focusing on the Iron Man and Wolverine tables. Those are my favorites of the bunch.

Most reports I've heard about the game have slated the Iron Man table for being boring. I dunno, I think it's alright. It's a bit like the Mars table from Zen Pinball and it has that upper left flipper shot that loops around like the one in Fun-House.

I don't like how in the Blade table, your view of the upper right flipper is blocked by the guy with the big gun when it switches to night-time (in view 6 at least). Kinda annoying.

Well, I'm actually going to be picking up a Street Fighter II pinball table from someone in KC this next weekend, so I'll have that. MUCH cheaper than a Medieval Madness at least. Why doesn't anyone local to us ever sell these kinds of things (at reasonable prices anyway, Kinney's is expensive as hell for dumb shit)?

Damnnnnn, so you did get it, eh? You better have me over soon then so I can play it! And yeah, it's a shame how hard games and such are to find around here for a decent price. I've gotten lucky a few times, but it's not enough!

Yep, actually pulling out of some of the retirement funds from my previous job to pay for it, lol. I'll keep the rest saved up though.....maybe....I know, I'm dumb, but hey.

Those of you playing zen pinball, which of the extra tables do you recommend? I just downloaded the Street Fighter one just because I wanted to hear those sound effects and music, but still have credit to get another table. I've heard the Mars one is very good.

Mars is good but a bit slow paced. I'd recommend the Ninja Gaiden one - cool theme and music, challenging but not impossible to beat, and it's nice to see the characters fighting. It's my favorite table.

Wow, I'd heard the Ninja Gaiden table was the hardest one. I guess that's fitting with the series though.

Here's the thing with Mars, don't ever bother trying to beat final mission. The thing is, once you beat 4 main missions. OKAY you unlock the final mission however if you screw up at it or lose a ball. You gotta do those missions all over again. Ruthless but at least the bonus is big (60 millions)

Not really, the hardest one is Mars. Not only it's tough to reach the final mission, but like Kaiser said, if you fail it you lose all your progress. It's brutal.

Here's my ranking of the tables, from easiest to hardest to get the silver trophy:

Paranormal
Excalibur
Street Fighter 2
V12
Ninja Gaiden
El Dorado
Tesla
Shaman
Earth Defense
Mars
