After graduating on the Nintendo University TOM managed to reprogram his Famicom robot to the ultimate Shmup-playing-machine. With it's help he will finally be able to dethrone RFK as shmup champion.

The rules for this year are as following: RFK and TOM will play a run in various shmups against the robot. Whoever can win most often against the robot will be the new champion.

Of course RFK doesn't know that TOM programmed two settings into the robot. Always when RFK is playing against it the robot will make a perfect no miss run. However when TOM is playing against him the robot will react with a lag of half a second. A devilish plan.

Here RFK is playing GigaWing Generations. Btw. if you only know the PS2 port of this game don't assume it's a bad game. The arcade version is awesome!

TOM is chasing the hiscore. Who knows in which game?

The robot is demonstrating his powers. What game is it this time?

The clock strikes midnight, time for...

Which game? This time a bit harder to recognize.

RFK proves his dodging skills in Scramble.

But what's happening? TOM is losing in Viewpoint. Something in the robots programming must have gone wrong.

Also in this game(?) the robot can't be defeated. A catastrophe, RFK and TOM can't loose against a simple machine!

Here you can see alternative purposes for cave kit boxes.

Later at night guest competitor GNU enters the tournament. Will he be able to defeat the robot?

He can't. The robot crushes his scores.

Another pic from GWG.

TOM has a plan. He is reprogramming the robot to link his energy with the energy of a Raiden Fighters 2 boss. Which device is he using for it?

If RFK and TOM are able to defeat the boss with the legendary RF2 2 player charge shot the energyburst should overheat the robots curcuits thus defeating him.

Full concentration. RFK and TOM are giving everything they have.

Only one more second. Nothing can resist against the charge-attack!

Wrapped in his burial shroud the robot fades away. RIP

Unbelievable. Shortly before the end of the tournament RFK manages to get the highest possible score in Viewpoint. Or is it?

And so our tournament comes to an end. Peace!
