Just had an e-mail telling me my copy, along with Last Hope Pink Bullets, has shipped. Cannot see it being at my door this week though as there is already a huge backlog of parcels in the UK.

Why does everybody have such a hard-on for Play Asia? It's been mentioned here already, the developer is the best source for this game. They can get it to you sooner, otherwise stock has to move from Germany to Hong Kong, they also take a cut from a Play Asia sale. It's up to you of course but I see little reason to order from Play Asia unless perhaps you live in Asia. Even then I would personally prefer to buy direct from NG Dev.

I was wondering as well. I've only played it at TRY and theres usually never more than 3 people on the STG floor including myself... Once I was there for 20 minutes playing F.S. and I was the only person on that floor the entire time....

I was wondering about this too. Supposedly the 1.5 version came out because of demand from Japanese arcades, but how much demand is there really?

Also why haven't I received an email yet saying my order is shipping?? Let me guess, first come first served and they are mailing them out by hand about 3 a day.

Mine arrived today . Played about an hour so far seems like a great game my only gripe is it does look total ass in VGA which for someone with a lcd only is a bit of a bummer .

I've tried this game on a 32" CRT TV via scart and on a 19" CRT monitor via VGA. It looks much the same on either setup to me. Looks like the graphics in the DC version are using the art straight from the Neo Geo version which would run at a quarter of the resolution of the DC output.

Still quite a good looking game though and it runs very smoothly. Controls are responsive and the action is fast. Great soundtrack as well which complements the action perfectly.

I'm really impressed with Fast Striker and hope NG Dev Team have success with it and can bring us more games especially on the DC or maybe even onto XBLA.
